Research and Evaluation Report Series 97-J
This is a three-volume report focusing on employer-based training (EBT) and was prepared to support the Department's efforts to disseminate information about effective strategies and practices for training and retraining the American workforce. This report provides in-depth descriptions and assessments for 17 EBT programs; nine of which were established and operated by firms in partnership with the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) system, and the remaining eight programs with mostly privately-funded companies sponsoring the training.
