Most Manufacturing, Incorporated, Including Leased Workers of
Express Temporary Services, Colorado Springs, CO; Amended Certification
Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance
In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on March 20, 1998, applicable to
workers of Most Manufacturing, Incorporated located in Colorado
Springs, Colorado. The notice was published in the Federal Register on
April 3, 1998 (63 FR 16574).
At the request of the State agency, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. New information provided
by the State shows that some workers of Most Manufacturing,
Incorporated were leased from Express Temporary Services, Colorado
Springs, Colorado. The leased workers produced optical disk drives for
Most Manufacturing at the Colorado Springs plant. Based on these
findings, the Department is amending the certification to include
leased workers from Express Temporary Services, Colorado Springs,
Colorado producing optical disk drives at the subject firms' production
facility.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers at Most Manufacturing, Incorporated adversely affected by
imports.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-34,247 is hereby issued as
follows:
All workers of Most Manufacturing, Incorporated, Colorado
Springs, Colorado, engaged in employment related to the production
of optical disk drives; and leasked workers of Express Temporary
Services, Colorado Springs, Colorado, engaged in employment related
to the production of optical disk drives at Most Manufacturing,
Incorporated, Colorado Springs, Colorado, who became totally or
partially separated from employment on or after January 28, 1997
through March 20, 2000, are eligible to apply for adjustment
assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.
